?A clock the server keeps, one play per device. On a multi-step lock one clock runs for the whole game, and you can add a clock per step. Answers that come too fast are refused and suspicious plays are flagged for you.

?Everybody can still play. Only the reward runs out: once the last one is taken, later players get a sold-out screen instead of the pad.

?Players sign the board with a nickname when the lock opens, and see everyone who finished before them.
?Under the reveal, players are offered the same lock to pass on to somebody else. Off by default: a proposal or a client's document is not meant to travel.
