- Lock Challenge is an online tool that lets you create interactive virtual locks. You set a secret code and hidden content. Your participants receive a link, solve the lock on their phone and discover what's behind it.
- Is it free?
- Lock Challenge offers a free plan (unlimited locks & chains, up to 30 total attempts) and a Pro plan at €29 lifetime for unlimited attempts and extra features. No credit card required for the free plan.
- How do I share a lock?
- After creating a lock you automatically get a short link and a downloadable QR code. You can also set a custom link, then share it by message, email or by displaying the QR code.
- What lock types are available?
- Numeric, directional, pattern, password, login, colors, musical, switches, ordered switches, grids and geolocation — 14 mechanics in total, with more planned.
- How many attempts does a participant get?
- A participant can retry as many times as they want. On the free plan, the total is capped at 30 attempts across your whole account; upgrade to Pro for unlimited attempts.
- Is the hidden content secure?
- The content is only revealed by the server after the correct answer is verified. Codes are stored hashed (bcrypt) and never exposed to the browser.
