What is a gender reveal game?
It is a link that hides the answer behind a small puzzle. Instead of watching a cake being cut, each person answers a question on their phone and the reveal appears for them. It works for family who are not in the room, which is most families.
How do I make a personalised gender reveal game online?

Does it work for twins, a name reveal or a pregnancy announcement?
Yes. The reveal is whatever you write: twins, the first name, a due date, or the news of the pregnancy itself. A name fits a five-letter guessing lock or a word lock, and a multi-step lock can reveal the gender first and the name last.
Can we play it at an in-person party?
Yes. Everyone scans the QR code on their phone and solves it at the same time, or one person plays it on the TV while the room shouts answers. Family who cannot come open the same link from home.
Can everyone open it at the same time?
Yes, and that is usually the point. Send the link with a time, and everybody finds out together wherever they are. You can also set an opening date, so the link simply does not work before it.
Do grandparents need an app?
No. It opens in whatever browser their phone already has, and there is nothing to sign up for. If they can open a link in a message, they can do this.
What if somebody cannot get the answer?
Add a hint. Players can open it with a button, and it shows itself after three wrong answers unless you change that number. You can make the hint give it away entirely: the moment is the reveal, not the puzzle.
