Write to us through the contact page or at contact@lockchallenge.com. A real person reads every message and answers within one working day, often much sooner.

To help us answer quickly, include the email address of your account and, if your question is about a lock, its link.

Account and sign-in

Payments and plans

Lock Challenge has one plan with everything included, in three lengths: 1 week for $4.90, paid once with no renewal; 1 month for $14.90, renewing monthly; 1 year for $59, renewing yearly. Building and previewing a lock are free; publishing a new lock needs active access, and players never pay. Buying a week during an active week adds 7 days; a week cannot be bought during an active subscription.

Payments are handled by Stripe. Your receipts and your subscription are on the Billing page of your dashboard, where you can cancel a subscription at any time: your access runs to the end of the period you paid for. Your published locks stay online and playable while your access is active; when it ends they stop opening for players, nothing is deleted, and they all reopen as soon as you take a week, a month or a year again. For a refund or a billing question, write to contact@lockchallenge.com.

An Event Pass bought before 25 October 2026 keeps its rules until it ends; the Event Pass is no longer sold.

A lock does not behave as expected

Open the lock from your dashboard and use “Test it as a player” to try it yourself. Answers are checked exactly as you saved them; for a word, upper and lower case are ignored unless you asked otherwise. If something still looks wrong, send us the lock's link and what you expected.

Lock Challenge in ChatGPT

The Lock Challenge app lets you create, change, track and delete your locks by talking to ChatGPT. It is included while your access is active (1 week, 1 month or 1 year).

Connect

In ChatGPT, add the Lock Challenge app and choose Connect. You are sent to lockchallenge.com to sign in and allow access. Only the locks of the account you connect are ever used.

Disconnect

Open your profile page on Lock Challenge: the “Connected apps” section lists ChatGPT with a Disconnect button. Disconnecting takes effect immediately; your locks are not changed.

“Reserved for Pro accounts”

The ChatGPT app needs active access. When your access ends, the connection stays but the app stops acting until access is active again. Nothing on your locks is touched.

Deleting from ChatGPT

ChatGPT always tells you what would be lost and asks you to confirm before it deletes a lock or a game. A deleted lock cannot be restored.
