Classroom escape game with music
A classroom escape game in four short riddles: how many months have 28 days, where the sun rises and sets on a map, the start of Au clair de la lune to play back on an on-screen piano, and the riddle of the towel. About twenty minutes for the whole class, on the board or on phones, and you can play it right now. The last lock opens on the instruction or the reward you write. Four steps is more than a free multi-step lock holds, so this one publishes with an Event Pass or Pro; players never need an account.

Questions about this template
- What age is this escape game for?
- Pupils from about eight to twelve. Each riddle is one line with a small trap: the months that have 28 days (all twelve), the sun on a map with north at the top (right, then left), six notes of a nursery rhyme, and what gets wetter the more it dries (a towel). Each lock has a hint for groups that get stuck.
- Can I put my own reward at the end?
- Yes. The last reveal is a placeholder for you: the next exercise, a page number, a few minutes of free time or a word to write on the board. Write it before you publish, and pupils see it only once they have opened the last lock.
- Why does this one need an Event Pass?
- Because it has four steps and a free multi-step lock holds three. It also arrives dressed, in the classroom look with a music box that opens and confetti. An Event Pass (ten steps) or Pro publishes it as it is. The three-step express version, without the melody, publishes free.
- Is this template free?
- Playing it and editing it in the builder are free for everyone. Publishing it with its paid options needs an Event Pass or Pro; remove them at Publish and it goes live on the free plan, for good.
- Can I change the answers and the texts?
- Yes. Every code, clue, hint and piece of locked content opens in the builder, and nothing is saved until you publish.
- What do players need?
- A phone or a computer with a browser. They open your link or scan your QR code, and never create an account.
- How long does it take to play?
- About 20 minutes, from the first lock to the locked content.
