Questions about this template
- Can I put the QR code inside a card?
- Yes. Every lock has its own link and QR code, so you can print it inside a birthday card, stick it on the wrapping paper or simply send the link in a message.
- Can the answer be a word only we know?
- Yes. Replace the answer with a nickname, a pet's name or an inside joke, then rewrite the question and the hint so only the recipient can work it out.
- What does the recipient see when it opens?
- Your reveal: a message, a picture, or where the present is hidden. Every picture and reveal can be changed, even after you have shared the link.
- Is this template free?
- Playing it and editing it in the builder are free for everyone. Publishing it with its paid options needs an Event Pass or Pro; remove them at Publish and it goes live on the free plan, for good.
- Can I change the answers and the texts?
- Yes. Every code, clue, hint and reward opens in the builder, and nothing is saved until you publish.
- What do players need?
- A phone or a computer with a browser. They open your link or scan your QR code, and never create an account.
- How long does it take to play?
- About 5 minutes, from the first lock to the reward.
