Questions about this template

What can I put behind the lock?
Anything the reveal can show: the next instruction, a picture or a short message. Pupils only see it once they have typed the right answer, which makes it a good lesson opener or exit ticket.
Does spelling matter?
Capitals do not, but the word has to be spelled correctly, accents included in languages that use them. Use the hint to steer pupils, for example by giving the first letters.
Can every pupil play on their own phone?
Yes, if they have one: the same link works on any phone, with no account. Without phones, project the lock on the board and let the class answer together.
Is this template free?
Playing it and editing it in the builder are free for everyone. Publishing it with its paid options needs an Event Pass or Pro; remove them at Publish and it goes live on the free plan, for good.
Can I change the answers and the texts?
Yes. Every code, clue, hint and reward opens in the builder, and nothing is saved until you publish.
